Two layers of vegan hazelnut cake with chunks of dark chocolate and whole dark roasted hazelnuts, thick vegan ganache and a sprinkle of sea salt.

Two layers of ricotta & thyme cake with generous chunks of apricot and dark chocolate throughout.

Topped with mascarpone icing, apricots and decorated with seasonal edible flowers.

Chunks of pink guava are dispersed through a creaming soda and citrus cake, with notes of pink grapefruit, apple, vanilla, lemon and elderflower.

A sweet and moist cake balanced with tangy citrus, mascarpone and cream icing and heavy chunks of pink guava and seasonal edible flowers on top.

A dark twist on a black forest cake ~ whole cherries and chunks of dark chocolate are hidden in this cherry chocolate cake.

Two layers of fudgey dark chocolate sesame cake  with toasted sesame seeds and chunks of dark chocolate throughout.

This cake has the option to be made with no added gluten, no added dairy and low sugar.  When ordering please select the gluten free option separately.

Two layers of dark chocolate cake, spiked with coffee and kahlua, large chunks of dark chocolate and mascarpone icing.

Brown butter & maple give these ginger kisses a warming flavour that's perfect for the winter months. They're soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, with a strong ginger kick and topped with maple mascarpone. They're perfect for morning or afternoon with piping hot cup of tea or coffee. Best eaten on the day of collection.

GIANT BROWN BUTTER & MAPLE GINGER KISSES

Two layers of soft, buttery shortbread are spiked with citrus zest. They are filled with a sweet, fruity and floral strawberry & rosewater jam. 

$60 for a box of 5.

About Sunday the Bakery

Emily is qualified in traditional French patisserie with experience both in New Zealand and abroad. She loves being at home, and making people smile.

Sunday the Bakery is a micro-bakery run from Emily's home in Mangere, Auckland. With her signature scalloped edges, an emphasis on intriguing flavour combinations and seasonal flowers, Emily's baking invites you to slow down and enjoy special moments with the people you love.

Sunday celebrates the feminine in all of us, and rejects the idea of constant rush and expansion. It's about being present in the moments that really matter in life.  It's the feeling of the warmth of the sun as you lie in a sunbeam, or drinking your coffee in your pyjamas on a Sunday morning.
